About Chava Bloom

This is what my life has been focused around... and it’s what I explore through my writings and teachings.

My Story…

I grew up in Silver Spring Maryland, graduating from the University of Maryland with a BA in English in the early 70’s. Married in 1973, I raised six children while studying and teaching in Jerusalem’s Old City—leading seminars, counselling and teaching classes to tourists and students. 

Later, living in Costa Rica, Florida, Ramat Beit Shemesh and now the lower Galil, I’ve continued to study, write, and teach. And to grow.

My life is about growing closer to God and growing closer to my soul core, my Tzelem Elokim (Godly image). And  that growth happens when we choose to bring spiritual light into the world and act on that choice. Perhaps that’s why of all the workshops that I lead, my favorites are “Finding Our Purpose,” and “Elul Preparation.”  

While I teach, mentor and write, I’ve also found time to be a…

“Letters from God”

“Letters from God” explores the deeper—often mystical—meanings of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Each letter is a personal message, a “handwritten letter” from God, clarifying who we are, what we’re doing here, and how we can build a loving relationship with the Holy One. “Letters from God” delves into the physics of the spiritual universe that underlies all existence.
