About “Letters from God”
“Letters from God” are the letters God has written to us, describing who He is, who we are, and what we’re doing here. God has created a world with the goal of actualizing loving relationship—and His letters, the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, are the mystical building blocks through which He speaks this world of love into existence.
The book opens with an Introduction exploring the letters of the Aleph Beit as the components that make up relationship… the relationship between God and His Creation.
The next section, called “Provisions for the Journey,” is about the basic Kabbalistic concepts and terms that are important to understand before diving into the letters.
The meat and potatoes of the book are the letter chapters—one for each letter. Each chapter explores its letter based on the letter’s “Name,” its “Structure,” “its “Number,” and a section called “Looking Deeper,” which dives into the ideas and concepts uncovered in the letter as they relate to other concepts in Torah, science and our own inner work.
